    I might have missed it in the documentation, but how do I invoke the API through python to render a visualization?

    @dataMan are you using Community Edition on GPUs?

    Thanks. You should be able to use the render_vega thrift call to ask the backend to render whatever you want as a PNG and then it will be returned as a binary blob. This should work with python, and we would love to hear about your results.

    Here’s further documentation on the vega renderer.

    There’s also some relevant sample code in, but those examples don’t specifically call the API.
